The Ecological Station in Jeziory is a remote organisational unit – a scientific field station of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Structurally, the Station belongs to the Faculty of Biology of AMU, serving the entire university community.
The Ecological Station has been operating since 1989 as a field research and monitoring, didactic and educational unit of the University. By cooperating with the Wielkopolska National Park, local government units and numerous schools for the diagnosis of temporal and spatial changes and nature protection, as well as ecological education, the Station is involved in a wide range of AMU activities as part of the university’s third mission.
